On Saturday the club travelled to Wimbleball to compete in the third WEARA event this year. The juniors are doing particularly well, Anna Newton has already won 3 novice single titles and has now moved up to the senior C category. The junior sweep rowers are also putting in good performances and this was reflected by the WJ18 4+ win at the weekend.
For the senior crews there were wins in the women’s Sen A, Sen B, and Nov 4+ and the men’s Sen A 1x, Sen A and Sen B 4+. All rowers are consistently performing at a high standard and Exeter are looking like strong contenders for securing the championship title in these events.
