We are one of the South West’s most successful rowing clubs with over 150 years of history.
Well done to our crews who raced at Wimbeball rega Well done to our crews who raced at Wimbeball regatta this weekend - some great results including the Victor Ludorum ! Some of our crew members had their first (ever!) race, and some have only just completed the learn to row course ! The enthusiasm for racing this year is absolutely fabulous, not to mention our men’s squad who are smashing it this year ! well done everyone ! Thank you to all who came to our dinner last night Thank you to all who came to our dinner last night - a fun time was had with some club awards being handed out ! Firstly a mention of two boats who have been named in honour of two life members, who have contributed so much to this club with both their coaching and general club attitudes , Sue Brooks and Jerry Copping, both who have given this club so much ! Secondly our turn out for the dinner was great ! It was lovely to see so many faces (not in Lycra !), club socialisation, and squad interaction - all key points in a healthy social club ! Here’s to the next racing season wishing you all the best of luck !
This weekend two crews took to the tideway for the This weekend two crews took to the tideway for the Vesta International Masters Head, our Masters Men in a Viii and some of our Masters Women in WMasABC 4x- With the women placing 8th in their category and Men 9th. Well done to all of our crews this weekend !
