Exeter Rowing Club is situated on the Exeter Ship Canal basin on Exeter’s beautiful historic quayside. The origins of the Club can be traced back to the early 1800’s and with over 140 members we are one of the largest and most successful clubs in the region. Our members regularly compete at local, national and international levels.
Rowing is a team sport. We train together, race together and win together. As rowers, coxes and coaches we spend a lot of time within our squads, which is why our club exists as more than just a training facility, we are also a friendly and social group with lots of events and activities taking place off the water.
We run ad-hoc events including pub quiz evenings, and skittles and pool skittles tournaments. These are the perfect opportunity to get to know other members of the squads, and we encourage you to come along and meet new people.
Exeter Rowing Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of all of our members. We believe that it is important that members, coaches, club officials and parents associated with the club should, at all times show respect and understanding for their safety and welfare of other members .
