First regatta at Bideford our crews got a great opportunity to demonstrate the hard winter training they’ve been putting in !

Well done to our Masters rowers who raced at Nottingham this last weekend for the British Rowing Masters Championship. With some ‘interesting’ winds not deterring, we had some great results !

Thank you to all who came to our dinner last night Thank you to all who came to our dinner last night - a fun time was had with some club awards being handed out ! 
Firstly a mention of two boats who have been named in honour of two life members, who have contributed so much to this club with both their coaching and general club attitudes , Sue Brooks and Jerry Copping, both who have given this club so much ! 
Secondly our turn out for the dinner was great ! It was lovely to see so many faces (not in Lycra !), club socialisation, and squad interaction - all key points in a healthy social club ! Here’s to the next racing season wishing you all the best of luck !

Today is international women’s day. It’s a won Today is international women’s day. It’s a wonderful opportunity to discuss women in sport. Women were first allowed to row in the Olympics in 1976, and from then we have seen many women earn their place in this sports history. Here is a post recognising some of the amazing women in this club and noticing how important it is to support women in sports.
