The City of Exeter Regatta is a respected and historic local event. It is situated in the heart of the city, along Exeter’s historic quay side’s cafes, restaurants and shops. It is understood to be the oldest established sporting event in the city.
Over 500 competitors from the South West region and beyond race in sprint events including eights, coxed fours, quads, pairs, double and single sculls. Over 140 races take place with entrants aged from 13 to 70+. Over 1000 spectators watch the event throughout the day. A full PA system is used along the quay with additional coverage by local newspapers, radio and TV.
Events include races for a variety of boats, including races in eights, coxed fours, quads, pairs doubles and single sculls. Over 100 sprint races take place over the day with entrants aged from 13 to 70 plus who travel from across the south west and beyond to attend.
A full PA system is used along the quay to aid spectators in understanding the event, along with additional coverage by local newspapers, radio and TV. The regatta has its own social media channels which cover the event.
The Regatta Committee welcomes sponsorship of individual races, categories of competition or other elements of the day. Examples of previous sponsorship packages are shown below, however if one of our sponsorship packages doesn’t meet your requirements we are happy to discuss your requirements and develop a package that is tailored to your needs.
The Regatta Committee welcomes sponsorship of £100 for each event category.
To acknowledge your sponsorship of an event we would like to
- Place your business logo in the regatta programme.
- Include your name in the programme alongside the event you are sponsoring.
- Announce your name during any races within the event you are sponsoring.
- Allow you to provide additional company advertising using banners alongside the quay.
- Invite you to participate in the awards ceremony at the end of the day.
