The City of Exeter Regatta is raced along the 400m “regatta straight” starting outside the Port Royal Pub and finishing by the Butts Ferry. This makes the event a great spectator sport with all of the racing being visible from either side of the quay. With the many shops, restaurants and bars located at Exeter Quay the regatta adds to the vibrant atmosphere of the quay making for enjoyable viewing for those familiar, and unfamiliar with rowing.
Commentary is provided throughout the day to ensure that everyone is aware of what is happening with the days racing, regardless experience.
Getting Here
Exeter Quay is just a ten-minute walk from the city centre of Exeter. There is some limited on-road parking available it the quay , as well as several car parks within a close walking distance.
