DESCRIPTION:It is with real regret that Exeter Rowing Club have had to make the decision to cancel this Saturday’s Head Race. The forecast winds of gusts over 50 mph would make it unsafe on the exposed canal. \nWith major items requiring confirmation today including delivery of two pontoons\, portaloos and medic we don’t have the option of waiting until later in the week to see if the forecast changes. \nWe hope you find another race to challenge your rowers over the winter but it does seem to be increasingly difficult to stage an event in the Autumn / winter months. \n\n\n
