Senior Men

COACH: Stuart Redden: Contact

The Senior Men are divided into 3 categories:

  1. High Performance
  2. Senior Development
  3. Novice Development

These groups are open to all men at the club and are based on a members aims and available commitment.

1. High Performance Group

Commitment: Training 6 days a week totalling 9-11 sessions.
Aims: Wanting to compete at major National events as detailed in the table below.

MHP Events

2. Senior Development Group

For competent experienced rowers with time constraints and/ or no wish to race regularly.
Commitment: 3-4 sessions per week, 2 land and 1 water minimum.

3. Novice Development Group

Having left the ‘Learn to Row’ group and have racing ambitions. This group has the option to feed up to the high performance group.
Commitment: 4 sessions per week, 2 water sessions and 2 land sessions minimum.

BOTH THE SENIOR DEVELOPMENT AND THE NOVICE DEVELOPMENT SHARE THE SAME AIMS

MDG Events

The senior mens timetable can be viewed on the club calendar and below.
Green cells highlight the land based training whilst blue highlights the water sessions. Please be aware that sessions may vary depending on the weather and other circumstances, therefore please keep a eye on your emails for any changes and for the detailed weekly training schedule.
Your coach will still need you to communicate your availability in order for sessions to run smoothly.
